SUMMARY

for about a month now, plasmashell crashes often.
it seems to happen (mostly) after unlocking the screen and interacting with items on the taskbar or closing notification widgets.
the desktop is not set to sleep / hybernate but the screen is set to power off. the computer is on a UPS.
sometimes the crashes happen at random times.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set screen to lock after 10 mins and to power off after 30.
2. wait a long time 1-2 hours at least
3. unlock screen and click on items on the taskbar

OBSERVED RESULT

plasmashell crashes, all windows disappear, and plasmashell restarts

EXPECTED RESULT
plasmashell should not crash

This has a trace matching bug 483134, which itself was identified as a duplicate of 414805. We believe that this is fixed with Qt 6/Plasma 6.
