SUMMARY Wake up from suspend causes screen dysfunction. Display is corrupted. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Put PC to suspend. 2. Wake up from suspend. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Display is corrupted, dysfunctional. To recover: Ctrl+Alt+F3 to get command prompt. sudo systemctl restart sddm Data and state are lost. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fedora 41 desktop. Gnome on Wayland works fine. This bug manifests only on plasma desktop.
What kind of GPU does the system use? Can you take a phone photo of what the screen looks like when the system is in this state?
