empty select certificate window

SUMMARY
Digital signature feature stopped working after certificate update on usb token

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS - Regularly using USB token with Thales Safenet Authentication Client, pkcs11 module configured in Firefox-esr, backend configured in Okular -> Digitally sign works every time on pdf files.
2. Certificate expires, is renewed, installed on the token and Digitally sign stops working:
3. After clicking Digitally sign -> selecting a rectangle area -> entering token password -> small window shows up to select the certificate to use but no certificate can be selected (see screenshot)
4. If clicking Cancel, process exits, no signature applied; if clicking OK, window shows up requesting to enter certificate password (I have no knowledge of any password); any input returns back to requesting to enter certificate password

OBSERVED RESULT
5. Unable to Digitally sign pdf files.

EXPECTED RESULT

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
USB token works otherwise for authentication online or with other software.
