SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install OpenSUSE TW on laptop
2. run System Monitor
3. click History

OBSERVED RESULT
total CPU usage is above 100%, such as 300..400 as a sum of 4 cores none of which is 100 loaded.

EXPECTED RESULT
sum of all CPU cores does not add up to 400%, it should add up to 100% max.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
percentage numbers do not add up correctly. Example: CPU0=20%, CPU1=20, CPU2=20%, CPU3=20%, Total CPU=300%. Bad math.

This looks like a duplicate of bug 434040. It has an open merge request, which seems to have stalled. I poked the submitter about it.
