Description Justin Zobel 2025-03-03 03:16:24 UTC
If I already have the window open and install an app, it will not show up. I need to navigate away or re-open the Default Applications KCM.

A rescan button would do the same scan that is done (at the KCM startup I assume) and allow users to quickly change the association.

Shouldn't it just refresh automatically?

How did you install the app?

1. Open Default Applications.
2. Open Discover
3. Install a browser that you don't already have installed (I installed Chromium from Flathub as a Flatpak)
4. Check dropdown list, no Chromium
5. Close and re-open Default Applications
6. Chromium is now there
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2025-04-03 19:12:49 UTC
I can reproduce the issue. We should instead make the data refresh automatically.
