I can very reliably crash plasma by clicking the system tray hidden icons button or otherwise exposing my floating Icons-only task manager.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Update: had gotten a warning about software rendering and inadvertently changed my Plasma Renderer setting to use Vulkan. Reverting to "Auto" eliminated the crashes.
