SUMMARY
Running KDE Neon 6.2 (KDE 6.10, Qt 6.8.1) in VMWare Fusion (13.6.2)  VM on MacOs (Intel) Sequoia 15.3.1. 
Copy/Paste between KDE and Host works both ways with X11 but only from host to KDE with Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Fusion Settings -> Isolation -> Enable Copy and Paste
2. Start KDE Neon with Plasma(X11)
3. Copy text from Kate or Firefox, verify text is in the pastebuffer
4. Switch to host pressing Control/Command and then Command/Tab
5. Paste text with Command/V
6 .Text is pasted from Neon
7. Switch to KDE  Neon with Command/Tab
8. Log Out
9. Change to Plasma(Wayland) and log in
10. Copy Text From Kate or Firefox, verify text is in the pastebuffer
11. Switch to host and Paste text with Command/V


OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing pasted, i.e. paste buffer has bee emptied.

EXPECTED RESULT
Text copied under wayland would have been pasted.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
VMWare Fusion player 13.6.2

When running command kinfo under X11 it gave the following error
ERROR:             VkInstanceCreateInfo::pApplicationInfo::apiVersion has value of 0 which is not permitted. If apiVersion is not 0, then it must be greater than or equal to the value of VK_API_VERSION_1_0 [VUID-VkApplicationInfo-apiVersion]

The error did not appear before when issued under Wayland.
