Created attachment 178669 [details] picture trying to show misalignment of pointer and grab handle SUMMARY I'm trying to use spectacle to save a rectangle, and noticed it is really hard to position it because where the pointer is, and where it actually draws the rectangle are way off in the Y direction. Then if you try and resize the rectangle using the grab handles, it doesn't work with the pointer in the grab handle. You've got to put the pointer like 1cm above the grab handle for it to recognise the grabhandle and allow resizing. A lot of users would probably give up before realizing that. I'm using exwm window manager, and I have polybar up top. I don't know if that's related to this issue, I know there are weird things in X11 related to whether there are window decorations or not, and exwm doesn't really have decorations., And polybar just sits up top outside of normal window management. I only mention these facts because the vertical misalignment of the grab bars is kinda about the same height as polybar up top, so it just occurs to me that that somehow could be related. I've attached a photo trying to show how the pointer is not positioned in the grab handle when it activates. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to draw rectangle to capture. OBSERVED RESULT Pointer and outcome are misaligned about 1cm in the vertical orientation. EXPECTED RESULT alignment SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Arch Linux (up to date) KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can't reproduce this issue in the 6.3 version. What screen scaling and font sizes are you using? Does it reproduce in a new clean user account?
