Hello, With the Plasma 6.3 update, various issues have occurred in the system. Most of these are graphical glitches, but I have no doubt that they will be fixed in future bug-fix updates. In fact, I am not writing this message about those issues. (The issues I mentioned have already been fixed in version 6.3.1.) The problem that truly frustrates me is that, in version 6.3, when I select the "built-in" color profile from the "Display Configuration" section, the colors, which used to be vibrant, now appear washed out. This makes looking at the screen unpleasant. Because of this, I had to downgrade to version 6.2.5. In versions 6.2.5 and earlier, when I set the color profile to "built-in," I was getting excellent color accuracy. Unfortunately, I am also unable to create a custom ICC profile myself. This issue is critically important to me, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into it. Best regards. I have a few questions to try to narrow down the cause of the problem - Are there any other color profiles available in the Color Profile dropdown for the monitor? If so, do they cause the same washed out color effect? - Is HDR enabled? Thanks!
My monitor does not support HDR, so it is disabled. I can set the color profile to "None," "ICC Profile," or "Built-in." Now, let me explain the changes before and after version 6.3. The "None" profile appeared washed out both before and after version 6.3. In the "ICC Profile" option, there are several color profiles from the Krita application and the Colord package, but these provided either washed-out colors or worse color accuracy both before and after version 6.3. The "Built-in" profile, however, offered an excellent color experience before version 6.3. After version 6.3, the color experience has significantly worsened. (I am using a laptop, which might be important information.) You're welcome! I appreciate your attention.
Thanks for the info!
