STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set up two monitors with the primary monitor designated in System Settings. 2. Open several windows on the primary monitor. 3. Trigger the “Present Windows” effect (by pressing [key combination] or via the screen edge). OBSERVED BEHAVIOR No windows from the primary monitor are rendered after triggering the effect, while on the secondary monitor the windows are shown. Some minor visual glitches can also be observed on the primary monitor. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR The “Present Windows” effect should show all open windows on whichever monitor it is activated on. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 481222 *** I don't believe bug 481222 is describing the same issue as this bug report is.
No, but the root cause is the same.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > No, but the root cause is the same. I should clarify that this is a *new* issue introduced in Plasma 6.3 (I've personally reverted to 6.2.5 until this is fixed which does not have this issue) and the displays are not being mirrored. Specifically, I have two 4k monitors set up like so: ``` 3840x2160 @ 144 Hz (as 1920x1080) in 27" [External, HDR] 3840x2160 @ 144 Hz (as 1920x1080) in 27" [External, HDR] * ``` bug 481222 appears to have been introduced in Plasma 5.93.0.
Hmm, maybe it really is a new and different issue, then. Re-opening.
This appears to have been fixed in Plasma 6.3..
