inability to pass the LUKS password screen

SUMMARY
Having /home partition separate and encrypted, on the boot when the password needs to be inputted, there is a small 4sec window of opportunity there to input and hit enter. Then the screen flashes, and whatever was inputted stays there, but cannot proceed further, as the keyboard doesn't have an effect anymore.

Attaching a video for better understanding

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Restart
2. On boot step LUKS password field is provided
3. Start typing, but wait a couple of seconds for screen to refresh
4. Try to hit enter or type anything else

OBSERVED RESULT
Keyboard stops responding. Either input field looses focus or something. A restart is needed.
To successfully pass through it, you have to quickly type your LUKS password, before the screen refreshes.

EXPECTED RESULT
Password input is provided. You type in the correct password without "clocking" yourself and move on to KDE neon login screen.

I've added 2 screenshots of boot during the system update, where it shows how the displays "recalculate" resolution and everything repositions awkwardly. Maybe it has something to do with the inability to focus the password field.
