Created attachment 178502 [details] Bug demo SUMMARY When trying to move an item in Dolphin, the context menu appears with black pixels at the edges, in contrast to the right click context menu which appears normally. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open two different windows in Dolphin 2. Try to drag something from one window to the other to see the context menu to move things OBSERVED RESULT The context menu appears with black pixels at the edges EXPECTED RESULT The context menu appears normally SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250211 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2
I can reproduce this on git-master (If you're using a dark theme, drop the file in a place where the menu will be over a lighter area, like the Folders / Places side panel or just switch to a light theme)
Also, the problem only happens on X11, not Wayland
It appears to be fixed in 6.4. Can anyone else confirm this?
I confirm this is fixed on my system as well on git-master. If you see this again, please feel free to set this to REOPENED
This seems to not be fixed as of 6.4.3 when trying to copy items from a system directory into a user directory. Not sure why exactly only this case shows the bug
I personally can reproduce this bug on wayland, when trying to copy items from a system directory into a user directory. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0 Qt Version: 6.10.0 Kernel Version: 6.17.8-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS with Radeon Graphics Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (14,9 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 680M Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Product Name: ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507NV_FA507NV System Version: 1.0

It doesn't matter if I copy from a system directory to a user directory, or to the Desktop. I tested with Breeze Dark and Breeze Light. What theme are you using? Ideally, could you attach a screen recording of the bug?
Created attachment 187021 [details] Video of the bug in kde-linux I can replicate on Arch Kde 6.5.3 and on today git branch (on kde linux distro). I just use Breeze Light.
Thanks for the details, and the recording. Contributors more familiar with this will have to take it from here.
