I think that if in addition to the widgets you could choose to display/not display a panel (I have 7 on the sides of the screen), activity on kde would be really perfect. maybe leave a main panel common to all and be able to decide for all the other panels with secondary use.
Thank you for the feature request! I'm not sure I understand what it is that you are asking for. Could I ask you to add a little detail to your suggestion? What does showing/not showing a panel exactly entail? Can you give us an idea of how the choice of displaying/not displaying a panel could be presented to the user?
I don't know how to describe it. On the KDE interface I see plasmoids, panels and icons. The panels are like the classic one at the bottom where there are the tray bar and the open apps

the idea was to be able to have these panels active or not depending on the selected Activity. I don't know if it's possible. it's just something thrown in there. It would give more functions to the Activity system

You want to be able to choose which Activities a particular panel to show on, is this correct? In a similar way to how you can e.g. pin Favorites in the Application Launcher in all activities or only some of them? I don't know much about activities to be honest, so I can't say more about this feature. (I didn't even know this wasn't already possible). It does sound like a very reasonable request though. I'll assign it to the Activities component.
yes
thx
At the moment it's out of scope, sorry. If and when we rethink what Activities are or should be, we can probably make this happen automatically as a part of a hypothetical project to make *all* settings activity-specific. However, for that moment that's hypothetical, and Activities are more or less feature-frozen in their current state until resources for such an initiative materialize. Thanks for understanding.
no problem. thx. bye.
