Description andrewtkendig 2025-02-17 18:21:52 UTC
SUMMARY
Opening Elisa from a file in Dolphin for a song already in the playlist creates a duplicate entry for that song in the playlist.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a file to the playlist
2. Close Elisa
3. Open the file that was added from Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Elisa keeps a persistent playlist when closed. If Elisa is opened from a file that is already in this persistent playlist the entry will be duplicated in the playlist.

EXPECTED RESULT
I would like if it could check if that file is already in the playlist and just jump to the existing entry rather than make a new duplicate entry.
