STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add a widget to desktop - I can reproduce this bug with System Monitor and Analog Clock widgets
2. click on the widget added to desktop and hold the mouse button until the resizing mode is activated
3. try to leave the resizing mode by clicking on the wallpaper

OBSERVED RESULT
the resizing mode remains active after the last step

EXPECTED RESULT
the resizing mode is deactivated after the last step

Can confirm, it doesnt quit the resize mode
