SUMMARY
Can reproduce on both Arch Linux and neon unstable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy any text
2. right-click on desktop and choose "Paste clipboard contents..."
3. cancel the dialog that asks for a filename for clipboard contents

OBSERVED RESULT
Unnecessary notification seen in the attached screenshot

EXPECTED RESULT
no notification

Same thing happens with images, and that one is already filed. Likely the same cause, so let's combine them.
