Can you confirm it still glitches with sliding popups off. Same with/without blur

s/display/disable blur effect
Do you have any non-default display settings? I've seen several cases with similar glitches when 16 bit shadow buffers are used.

I had ICC profiling using my built-in profile but turning it off didn't change a thing. Other than that I don't other none-default settings. I don't have any fractional scaling. If I turn off contrast effect or blur effect, the bug does not happen.

I now use a two external screens setup and the bug is harder to trigger now. ``` kscreen-doctor -o Output: 1 eDP-1 disabled connected priority 0 Panel Modes: 1:1920x1200@60*! 2:1600x1200@60 3:1280x1024@60 4:1024x768@60 5:1920x1200@60 6:1280x800@60 7:1920x1080@60 8:1600x900@60 9:1368x768@60 10:1280x720@60 Geometry: -1920,0 1920x1200 Scale: 1 Rotation: 1 Overscan: 0 Vrr: incapable RgbRange: Automatic HDR: incapable Wide Color Gamut: incapable ICC profile: none Color profile source: EDID Color power preference: prefer accuracy Brightness control: supported, set to 69% and dimming to 100% Output: 2 DP-5 enabled connected priority 1 DisplayPort Modes: 11:3840x2160@60*! 12:3840x2160@30 13:3840x2160@30 14:3840x2160@25 15:3840x2160@24 16:3840x2160@24 17:2560x1440@60 18:2048x1280@60 19:1920x1080@60 20:1920x1080@60 21:1920x1080@60 22:1920x1080@50 23:1920x1080@25 24:1920x1080@24 25:1920x1080@24 26:1600x1200@60 27:1600x900@60 28:1280x1024@75 29:1280x1024@60 30:1152x864@75 31:1280x720@60 32:1280x720@60 33:1280x720@50 34:1024x768@75 35:1024x768@60 36:800x600@75 37:800x600@60 38:720x576@50 39:720x576@50 40:720x480@60 41:720x480@60 42:720x480@60 43:720x480@60 44:640x480@75 45:640x480@60 46:640x480@60 47:640x480@60 48:720x400@70 Geometry: 0,0 2195x1235 Scale: 1.75 Rotation: 1 Overscan: 0 Vrr: incapable RgbRange: Automatic HDR: incapable Wide Color Gamut: incapable ICC profile: none Color profile source: EDID Color power preference: prefer accuracy Brightness control: supported, set to 95% and dimming to 100% Output: 3 DP-6 enabled connected priority 2 DisplayPort Modes: 49:2560x1440@60! 50:2048x1152@60 51:1920x1200@60 52:1920x1080@60* 53:1920x1080@60 54:1920x1080@60 55:1920x1080@50 56:1920x1080@30 57:1920x1080@30 58:1920x1080@25 59:1920x1080@24 60:1920x1080@24 61:1600x1200@60 62:1680x1050@60 63:1280x1024@75 64:1280x1024@60 65:1200x960@60 66:1152x864@75 67:1280x720@60 68:1280x720@60 69:1280x720@60 70:1280x720@50 71:1024x768@75 72:1024x768@60 73:800x600@75 74:800x600@60 75:720x576@50 76:720x480@60 77:720x480@60 78:720x480@60 79:720x480@60 80:720x480@60 81:640x480@75 82:640x480@60 83:640x480@60 84:640x480@60 85:720x400@70 Geometry: 2195,0 1080x1920 Scale: 1 Rotation: 8 Overscan: 0 Vrr: incapable RgbRange: Automatic HDR: incapable Wide Color Gamut: incapable ICC profile: none Color profile source: sRGB Color power preference: prefer efficiency and performance Brightness control: supported, set to 95% and dimming to 100% ```
I faced the same problem, I'll attach the video below. TEMPORARY SOLUTION: - Disable the blur effect in the desktop effects settings. System Settings > Window Management > Desktop Effects > Blur (from on to off) video: https://youtu.be/LGB3l1D2X3c
