SUMMARY
After updating to Plasma 6.3, the battery icon in the system tray appears and disappears constantly. When plugged in, the icon just does not appear anywhere.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update to Plasma 6.3

OBSERVED RESULT
The icon appears and disappears constantly.

EXPECTED RESULT
The icon should not do that.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Fedora KDE 41
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The battery icon is set to be always visible in the system tray settings.

The problem was with a third party package holding back KWin to an older version (see https://discuss.kde.org/t/battery-and-screen-brightness-are-gone-in-6-3/29998/15?u=gianmarco).
