Description Nick 2025-02-07 11:49:28 UTC
SUMMARY
Ledgers displays incomplete list of transactions

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Ledger
2. list transactions
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
I have been using KmyMoney for many years so have transactions going back for ages. Today I have input several transactions to a number of account ledgers, but one of them, my current account, seems is not displaying a period from March 2024, to one I have updated today. It then correctly shows a number of my future, scheduled transactions that I apply to the account in advance as routine.
Note that the running total is correct, so the undisplayed transactions are in the system, simply not displayed. I do not have any filters active on the display either.

EXPECTED RESULT
All transactions should be listed

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10.0.19045 Build 19045
macOS:
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

Thanks for reaching out. The ledger code has been rewritten in the meantime and I wonder if the problem still persists with the updated version. Can you try if the problem persists with the development version from our CI/CD stream at https://kmymoney.org/windows.html. You can also try the stable version, but I doubt that this shows different results.

All records now displayed.

Closing per previous comment. Also, Nick, when you reply to a bug by email, please delete everything except you new nessage. Your entire email becomes the next comment in the bug, and all the extraneous quoted stuff from the previous comment makes the flow difficult to follow. Thanks.
