Description Simone Gaiarin 2025-02-04 07:12:48 UTC
SUMMARY
On wayland firefox windows are restored outside the notebook screen if they previously were on a external monitor. I need to close and reopen the firefox window to be able to have it again in the notebook screen.

Not sure if this is a problem with kwin or kscreen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect an external monitor to a notebook
2. Open a firefox windows on the external monitor
3. (Minimize the window)
4. Put the notebook to sleep
5. Detach the external monitor
6. Resume the notebook
7. Click on the firefox icon in the menu to restore it

OBSERVED RESULT
I can see the animation of the window that is restored outside the notebook monitor, where the external monitor was before

EXPECTED RESULT
The window is restored in the notebook screen
