SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open dolphin
2. in the location bar, begin typing an sftp address such as "sftp://my.name@my_server"

OBSERVED RESULT
As soon as I type "my.name" it replaces the entire location with "/home/my.name" and I have to re-type the entire address. I have to do this several times before it finally lets me type the address without replacing it with "/home/my.name".

EXPECTED RESULT
To leave the address I'm typing as-is if it begins with "sftp".

Thanks for the bug report. It looks like this is fixed in up to date versions of Dolphin. I am unable to reproduce this bug on 24.12.1, or on git-master.

I'm afraid Ubuntu 20.04 is no longer supported by Canonical. You may want to update to a supported version of Ubuntu so that your system receives bug fixes and security patches.
