SUMMARY
If you're in a Wayland session and open InkScape with the global menu bar widget, you get no app menu anywhere and you have to remove the widget temporarily to get it to render on InkScape. However, if you're in a X11 session it is visible by the widget like expected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open InkScape in a KDE Plasma Wayland session with the global menu bar widget active.
2. Click "new document" on the launcher

OBSERVED RESULT
No app menu is rendered anywhere

The app menu to be rendered by the widget
