Description Fernando M. Muniz 2025-02-01 17:33:51 UTC
I'm requesting an option that would allow users to favorite audio devices, which would be useful for configurating devices while they're disconnected, such as during trips.

What's the use case for configuring a disconnected audio device during a trip?
Comment 2 Fernando M. Muniz 2025-02-03 23:38:34 UTC
Assuming the user's profession involves multiple audio devices, being able to configurate many devices while the user is away and while the user is travelling back would make their workflow much more efficient.

That's creative but I don't think there's any value in that. If you have this use case (and I'm willing to bet nobody actually does), they can use command-line tools for it, as it's an extreme niche expert use case at best.
