SUMMARY The screen when loging into system flashes with left side green and right side black, appmenu always flashes green when opening with animations flashing. Locking the screen also produces the half green/half black effect for a couple seconds. OBSERVED RESULT Green/black flashes across the system, when animations enabled. If they are disabled they don't happen. EXPECTED RESULT Smooth experience with no system flashing. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.12.11 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I used plasma6 on nixos about 10 months ago with no issues but stopped using about 9 months ago. Installed it again 3 days ago and found this issue happenning from a fresh install but seeing how it didn't affect functionality of the system I left it be until it started to annoy me, Looking at the internet there was only ever one case of something like this reported on reddit with no fix. I tried to record the appmenu issue and locking with obs but they don't show up on the recording so I had to use my phone to do it.

Does the issue disappear f you disable blur and contrast effects?

My current system info: Operating System: CachyOS Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.10.0 Kernel Version: 6.17.4-2-cachyos (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × AMD Ryzen 3 2200U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx Memory: 8 GiB of RAM (6.7 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics.
