ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Guido 2025-01-30 20:55:20 UTC
Like a fool, I have not tried simply double-clicking on "extend left". It also works like this. However, it does not work the first time.
Comment 2 TraceyC 2025-02-24 17:58:20 UTC
Adding the x11-only keyword
Comment 3 TraceyC 2025-02-24 22:20:55 UTC
I can confirm this on git-master, X11
The bug doesn't happen on Wayland
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2025-05-22 19:11:10 UTC
Multi-screen is too unpleasant on X11; I don't see this ever being fixed, sorry. The Wayland session is preferred for a decent multi-screen experience nowadays.
Comment 5 Guido 2025-05-22 19:59:28 UTC
X11 session is officially maintained until Plasma 7. Also, it is a KDE specific bug, not because Xorg.
Comment 6 Nate Graham 2025-05-22 20:02:30 UTC
The reality is that Plasma's X support is on life support, and most X11-specific bugs will never be fixed. I'm just being honest with you here rather than stringing you along by pretending that something might happen when it won't.

Don't re-open bug reports that developers have closed.
