SUMMARY Before deleting thumbnails out of the database check if a copy of the corresponding images exists in another folder. If yes, do not delete the thumbnails and only update internal links if required. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use a collection of processed images 2. Move images from a folder to another one without digiKam 3. Scan the folder to which the images have been moved (Import into database) 4. Scan the folder where the images were previously located.
