Description Alex 2025-01-29 22:35:35 UTC
SUMMARY
I have Elisa configured with the "Keep running in system tray when main window is closed" option set (=true) ; I like to have Elisa in my system tray and just command it with the media keys. But when I want to open it back, when I either click the Elisa icon pinned in taskbar or through KRunner, it seems that it tries to launch a new instance of the app instead of opening the one running.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Elisa
2. Tick the "Keep running in system tray when main window is closed" option in the configuration
3. Close Elisa (in system tray)
4. Launch it through KRunner or a taskbar

OBSERVED RESULT
Loading animation in the taskbar icon, then nothing

EXPECTED RESULT
The running instance should show up
