STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Ctrl + F or under "View" in menu bar choose "Find action" 2. Search for "extract clip" command OBSERVED RESULT No commands matching the filter EXPECTED RESULT Shown the "extract clip" action or command SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kdenlive: 24.12.1 MLT: 7.28.0 FFmpeg KDE Frameworks: 6.9.0 Qt: Using 6.8.0 and built against 6.8.0 Windows 10 Version 22H2 Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64 Kernel: winnt 10.0.19045 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please note, I recently started using latest 24.12.1 after a long time therefore didn't know which version of kdenlive, stopped showing (some) commands in "Find Action" search results. Last version I used that showed (in my case) is "extract clip" command was in 23.08.3 . Since I can't attach multiple attachment, there is an old gif showing exactly that "extract clip" action. Please refer attachment of Bug id 485517.
I can confirm this also for 24.12.1 flatpak and appimage. Keyboard shortcut Shift+Del for *Extract Clip* still exists and works but cannot be found using Ctrl+Alt+I
Went back through all versions down to 22.12.2 and it is not there either in none of them
In fact, the "Extract Clip" command is only enabled if you have a clip selected in timeline. If you select a clip and try to find the command it will work. So I guess this is not a bug, the "Find Action" only displays available actions...

Wow! I didn't know that! This explains the "glitch in the matrix" as reported by the OP in Telegram/Matrix. Question though: Why does it find "Extract Frame..." in an empty project then? Changing to RESOLVED - NOT A BUG
