Also affects mobile installations (version 24.12.0 from flathub).
The error message when searching connections is: "server replied: Service Temporarily Unavailable".
This started some weeks ago.
Autosuggest for stations works for me currently; this differs from the original report.

Seems that the DB shut down thier API permanently. See https://github.com/public-transport/db-hafas
https://github.com/public-transport/hafas-client/issues/331
https://github.com/public-transport/db-vendo-client/issues/10

here is the workaround https://github.com/public-transport/db-vendo-client
using new API, but it needs a code rewrite, iiuc

As temporary workaround from user side for me works Railteam provider.

Thanks for your investigation. For me, Railteam (under European Union) is shown with a red exclamation mark and it is not working.

Volker, what's our strategy here?

For me works. The red mark means its HTTP and not HTTPS, iiuc
Comment 8 hartrumpf 2025-02-01 16:27:26 UTC
OK. My station name was incorrect. Railteam works for me as a provider, too.

Ah, you're half of right. It was a false impression that it worked. Probably bacause other provider was enabled too. Some othe providers (like BVG) are working but not for the whole Germany. Railteam works for some yes, for some no

Update KPublicTransport, this was fixed (and backported) there within 48h of DB shutting down their Hafas endpoint.
