Description candide 2025-01-27 01:42:23 UTC
SUMMARY
For the "Fade out" Effect: the "i" icon, which is meant to link users to the corresponding doc page, links to the wrong web page.

It links to: https://docs.kdenlive.org/other/fade_to_fade

But it should link to: https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/effects_and_filters/video_effects/motion/fade_out.html

See: https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/effects_and_filters.html#effect-functions

Couldn't find where this link is in the source code (otherwise, I would have fixed it directly in a merge request)

Thank you for reporting. I just tested fade-in and fade-out effect (video and audio) on 24.12.1 and it links to the correct documentation page.

Can you make a short screen recording and upload it here to see what happens on your side?

I just tested again and video fade-out is linking to the correct manual page: https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/effects_and_filters/video_effects/motion/fade_out.html
