I'm requesting addition of the option to forget/delete wi-fi connections, just like the option from System Settings.
Exposing forget / delete in the widget would save time in places where the user knows they will never connect to a network again
We could probably stick it in the expanded area.
I'm not sure I'm sold on this. On all operating systems I've tried so far, the ability to forget connections was in the settings, not in the popup. The same happens here; you just have to click the settings button to forget networks. It's quite a destructive action if triggered accidentally, which would require some sort of "undo" button, and I don't really see the point of having it there instead of just opening settings. I'm putting it in needsinfo for further discussion.

Mhh, but the screenshot you posted is from Android system settings, not the Android "applet" in the system tray. I'm not saying it can't be done, I just don't quite see the point of it directly within the applet instead of in settings, as it is now… (though having to hold buttons is not something we do anywhere, so that's a no-no)
I agree; there's no need to duplicate more of the KCM UI in the widget. The point of the widget is to offer quick access to common tasks like connecting and disconnecting, while forgetting and deleting Wi-Fi networks are tasks that I don't believe qualify.
