SUMMARY
kdialog is unresponsive / frozen when the folder picker dialog is opened by certain apps (including but not limited to vscode and obsidian notes)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a new workspace folder in vscode, or open a vault from a location in obsidian
2. folder picker appears but is unresponsive
3. after a while the "window unresponsive dialog appears"
4. the close program button has to be pressed 3-4 times before the dialog is removed from the screen.

OBSERVED RESULT
kdialog appears but is unresponsive

EXPECTED RESULT
kdialog appears and is responsive

Linux/KDE Plasma:  Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I've been encountering this issue for many months, at least since plasma 6 first released but potentially longer so this isn't a new issue

I should also add that I do not have this issue on my laptop which is also an archlinux system configured in pretty much the exact same way as my desktop.
