Description postix 2025-01-23 13:24:07 UTC
SUMMARY

- balooctl purge
- reindex everything including file names for my home folder and two internal hdds

It starts correctly with "Indexing hasn't started yet, 0%".
Then it changed to "Checking for non indexed files, 100%", which hasn't changed for a few minutes.

I've started to switch the KCM in order to "update" the status bar message, waiting 1-5 minutes in between:

Switched the KCM, now it read "Checking for non indexed files, 64% complete", nothing changed by itself for a few minutes.
Switched the KCM, now it read "Checking for non indexed files, 24% complete"
Switched the KCM, now it read "Checking for non indexed files, 64% complete"
Switched the KCM, now it read "Checking for non indexed files, 28% complete"
Switched the KCM, now it read "Checking for non indexed files, 24% complete"
...

This information is absolutely unreliable.
