Description Fernando M. Muniz 2025-01-23 11:17:20 UTC
I've noticed that while the bookmarked apps on the Application Menu have a "Edit application..." option when you right-click them, such option is missing when right-clicking apps pinned to the Panel.

I've noticed this when I was trying to write down flatpak names, which this option shows.

This is very likely intentional; over time we've tried to move potentially destructive edit actions into dedicated modes, so people can't get there by accident. From that perspective, the "Edit Application" menu item for apps in Kickoff the the odd one out, and probably ought to be removed.

I've posted Bug 499060 for an elegant alternative for finding out flatpak addresses.
