This may be a challenging feature to implement, but here's the idea: currently, in KDE Plasma, you can record an entire screen, a region, or a window. If we record a window, its parent windows are not included (for example, if we open the settings of the LibreOffice application, they appear in a new window and won’t be captured in the video). Recording the entire screen is an option, but it’s inconvenient if you don’t have a second monitor and need to see additional information or work with something else that shouldn’t appear in the recording. A feature that allows recording a single virtual desktop could resolve these issues. During the video recording, you would be able to switch to another virtual desktop and work with other applications without them being included in the recording. I’m not sure how specific or niche this functionality might be, so it would be interesting to hear others’ opinions on it.
This seems worth considering
