SUMMARY
Sometimes, while downloading updates, you may want to check the list of packages being updated again, but Discover doesn’t allow you to do that. For some reason, the "More Information" button simply becomes unclickable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover
2. Start updating system packages
3. The "More Information" button becomes unclickable

OBSERVED RESULT
The "More Information" button is unclickable, making it impossible to view the list of packages being updated while the update is downloading.

EXPECTED RESULT
The ability to view the list of packages being updated even while the update is downloading.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon Testing, Wayland
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

Can confirm. Looks intentional; not sure why.
Comment 2 Harald Sitter 2025-01-25 11:25:46 UTC
Yeah that's intentional behavior. While the update is running the entries get kicked out of the list as they get updated so an entry might get deleted while you view its more information. Not sure that is worth changing, as it requires changes to how the update model works.
