Description Tobias Leupold 2025-01-21 17:21:32 UTC
SUMMARY

Under certain conditions, when you start KWrite, multiple windows are opened instead of only one. I think this is not a regression of 24.08.3 specifically, IIRC this behavior existed since "Kate ate KWrite" back then.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have KWrite configured to open multiple windows instead of tabs.
2. Start KWrite. Open some file.
3. Via "File" → "Open", open another file to be opened in another window.
4. Start another KWrite instance to get a new empty window.

OBSERVED RESULT

Two new empty KWrite windows are opened.

EXPECTED RESULT

Only one new empty KWrite window should be opened.
