Description Vladimir Bely 2025-01-20 00:37:03 UTC
SUMMARY
keyboard not working after disable touchpad in settings

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open system settings -> Touchpad
2. Disable first toggle "Enable touchpad"
3. Logout and login or reboot

OBSERVED RESULT
The keyboard stopped working. The system no longer accepts keystrokes on the keyboard.

EXPECTED RESULT
The keyboard works in the system

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 6.2
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The bug is only present on Wayland, when switching to X11 everything works as it should. I would also like to note that the problem only occurs with Logi MX Keys S + Bolt receiver. When connecting the same keyboard via Bluetooth, the problem is not reproduced.

I would like to note that the keyboard works on the password input screen (SDDM) and stops working after logging in.
