Keyboard Backlight missing in KDE Neon with Plasma 6.3 beta

SUMMARY
The "Keyboard Backlight" slider is missing from the "Brightness and Color" widget

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a laptop that has an illuminated keyboard
2. Boot KDE Neon (not an already installed distro with Plasma)
2. Open the "Brightness and Color" widget
3. See if the "Keyboard Backlight" slider is there

OBSERVED RESULT
Brightness and Color widget doesn't show the keyboard backlight value / slider from the beginning.
Meaning already on first boot.
See the attached printscreen!

EXPECTED RESULT
Brightness and Color widget to show the keyboard backlight value / slider from the beginning.
I heard that this works after a reboot and I can confirm that it seems to have worked on installed Debian + Plasma 6.2.5, but the problem still remains for KDE Neon and I assume every other distro with Plasma that is booted in live mode from a pen drive.
Reboot there is useless and while a logout / login might be enough to solve the problem, if I forget about the problem at night and already opened a few programs, maybe Firefox with a few tabs or some form fields, writing something or some long running commands in the terminal, having to logout to fix the keyboard lighting is not feasible at all.

As for using live-booted distro with Plasma at night, I've done it quite a few times so I don't think it's such an edge case.
At least for me, where I booted quite a few times in live mode to solve problems.
It's not a big problem as for installed distros, it works, but still I hope to see it fixed for live booting too.
Hopefully the cause of the problem can be identified.

Sorry I could not find an already existing bug report about this!

If you install the system, does the slider appear?

Hi - am I reading correctly that logging out and logging back in solves the issue?

(If so, I believe the core issue here is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486067)

I cannot say as I cannot wipe my system (Debian 13 weekly build + Plasma 6.2.5) to install KDE Neon, sorry.
But most likely I noticed the same problem when I install Debian 13 weekly build in December or January that came with Plasma 6.2.4) and disappeared without me doing anything about it. I assume it was gone after one of the first restarts. I didn't do any logout as I'm the only user on the system.

Hi, yes, I just trying it again with a fresh KDE Neon testing ISO and after booting and looking at that widget to confirm that the keyboard brightness slider is missing, it's enough to log out.
KDE Neon I think it has auto-login activated as it logged me back in and looking again the widget shows the missing slider.
So I can confirm that logout / login is indeed enough to fix this missing slider problem!

I'm not sure if that bug is the core issue or similar, but the last comment there says that that it still happens with the 6.3 beta and that's what I noticed here too, so int this area it's either the core issue or very similar.

For obvious reasons I cannot test the issue in KDE Neon with a restart instead of logout / login without it being installed or in a virtual machine, but from what I noticed on my Plasma 6.2.4 install, I think it's a pretty good guess that when it's installed, a restart will also fix it.

The only thing is that Plasma 5.27 didn't have this problem. For 6.0 and 6.1 I don't know I haven't tested them.
