SUMMARY
Notifications from Spotify freeze the screen for a few seconds on KDE.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open Spotify and start playing music.
2. Wait for a song change or notification about the currently playing track.

OBSERVED RESULT

The screen freezes for approximately 4 seconds whenever a Spotify notification appears.
The system becomes unresponsive during this freeze.

EXPECTED RESULT

Notifications should display without causing any freezes or performance issues.

Is this in an X11 session or a Wayland session? Or does it reproduce in both session types? It would be great if you could test that.

It only happens on wayland. X11 works normally.

Can't reproduce, Spotify notifications appear and disappear without any stutter here.

Hi - just to double-check, does the freeze-up still happen if no notification is shown at all - i.e. when a song changes in Spotify, even with notifications disabled/hidden?

hi, sorry for the late reply, but in the new version it stopped freezing. but awsering your question, it happened only when was notifications enabled
