If I drag two files (Left-Right) they should be placed on Desktop left and right to each other.
If I drag two files (Up-Down) they should be placed on Desktop up and down to each other.

In other words, Dolphin's grid should rule how their files/folders are organized on Desktop, unless they are dropped in an impossible angle.

This is one of those things that seems like it *should* be easy, but for various reasons, it's actually almost impossible. I don't think we can sink resources into chasing this white whale, sorry.
