SUMMARY I have a full screen konsole application opened on my laptop screen, there is an external monitor which I set to be the default one. After disconnecting external monitor, full screen konsole app doesn't appear on the laptop screen, when minimizing or maximizing it looks like it's on some other screen (the animation shows it) but there is no other screen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect external monitor to laptop and set i as default 2. open konsole, move it to the laptop screen and set full screen (F11) 3. disconnect external screen OBSERVED RESULT konsole window opens outside visible area and cannot be moved into visible one EXPECTED RESULT konsole app should be present on the only available screen, so the laptop screen, in full screen mode or just as a normal window SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.4-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS with Radeon Graphics Memory: 30.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 680M ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'd say this is a dup of bug #498657.
Can you still reproduce this on 6.3.5? If so, can you attach the output of > kscreen-doctor -o with the external monitor connected?
