Description gkhk.zu 2025-01-12 17:50:30 UTC
SUMMARY
External monitor disappears and mirrors another after screen lock

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect multiple external monitors to the system.
2. Ensure that all monitors are functioning correctly and displaying distinct content.
3. Lock the screen.
4. Log back into the system.

OBSERVED RESULT
After locking the screen and logging back in, one of the external monitors is missing from the display settings. The remaining monitor displays a mirrored image of another monitor, but the resolution is scaled down, resulting in a gap between the monitors that prevents cursor movement between them. See attachment.

EXPECTED RESULT
All external monitors should remain connected and display distinct content after unlocking the screen. The monitors should not mirror each other unless explicitly configured to do so, and there should be no gaps between them, allowing for cursor movement across all displays.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
