Humm how are you using Ctrl+Alt+mousewheel to navigate virtual desktops? I don't think this is a default key-binding?
Ah! Sorry, I was so focused on every other detail and by mistake left Ctrl there instead of Super. It should have been Super+Alt+mousewheel to navigate virtual desktops. I've edited the summary to reflect that.
