Description uncognic 2025-01-10 23:26:06 UTC
SUMMARY
When locking the screen, for example with Meta+L, if the cursor is over an XWayland application such as VMware Workstation, the cursor will momentarily change to the default X cursor. I am not sure if I should submit this within plasmashell or kwin

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put cursor over XWayland application
2. Lock screen
3. Watch as the cursor momentarily changes to the X cursor

OBSERVED RESULT
It changes to an X cursor for a second

EXPECTED RESULT
For the cursor to stay Breeze-themed

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 6.12.9
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0

Just to add, this also happens when right clicking a partition in GParted

Can't reproduce anymore; looks like this probably got fixed with the fix for Bug 499965.
