SUMMARY Again an audio bug that only affect one of the laptop. While sound from the computer build-in audio works fine. On headphone only, there is no sound coming out of applications (like VLC or Firefox) but sound is working from KDE (audio indicating a volume change and Right/Left sound test from audio settings). Maybe this bug is related to an other bug which makes that headphone are shown unplugged on this laptop (not the other) whether they are plugged or unplugged. I had a similar bug before on an older laptop where it was the audio from KDE that was not working and audio was working for Applications. This old bugs has solved himself in maybe one month. (I am not using the older laptop anymore, but I could go watch if this new bug is on it if someone want.) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use an affected laptop (easier say than done) 2. Plug a headphone and put the audio to headphone (even if unplugged is written on it) 3. Play the audio test from systemsettings/audio (Front Left/Front Right), the sound should play in headphone 4. Now play audio from an application like VLC (with a video that has sound). OBSERVED RESULT No sound can be heard in the headphone from VLC. But sound is heard from the audio test (or when changing KDE main volume). When using the laptop build-in audio, sound can be heard from everything. EXPECTED RESULT Sound should work from everywhere on the computer, on headphone, on all laptop. please run the following commands flatpak install org.rncbc.qpwgraph flatpak run org.rncbc.qpwgraph play a longer audio/video file in vlc and take a screenshot of the qpwgraph window additionally the output of the following command would be interesting pw-dump
Sorry for the delay. On Terminal, when opening org.rncbc.qpwgraph, I get : "Qt: Session management error: Could not open network socket". But it still open. The content shown is different depending on if VLC was open before or after qpwgraph and if a an other window than qpwgraph is hovered. I will add screenshot of different cases.

Created attachment 177432 [details] PipeWire Graph, VLC open before, using NATIVE SPEAKER, without hover Screenshot of the PipeWire Graph, with VLC open before qpwgraph, audio set to NATIVE SPEAKER, without hover on an other window. There is no issue with native speaker audio. This is just to compare.

Thank you for your help. I wasn't sure what was the needed screenshot(s). I put the bug back from needsinfo to reported for until you need something else.
Update, the issue on this computer is also present on Linux Mint 22.2 Xfce-64bits (fully installed). Headphones are shown as not connected even when they are (both KDE and Xfce) and even when we say to use them anyway no sound is coming out anywhere on Xfce. On KDE, KDE system settings audio test was able to play audio on headphone when we say to use headphone, even if nothing else on the OS was able to play sound. Both KDE and Xfce have no issue with audio from build-in speakers.
