Description Antti Savolainen 2025-01-10 08:23:27 UTC
SUMMARY
Currently if you paste text into dolphin, it creates a text file out of that text. It would be nice if this behavior was changed a little so that if the user pastes text that fits the definition of an URL, the program initiates the "Link to Location (URL)" dialog. It would be a nice usability change.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Copy an URL
2. Paste said URL in Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin creates a text file that contains the pasted text

EXPECTED RESULT
Dolphin should create a link to a website that contains the pasted text
