SUMMARY Hey testing out Plasma 6.3 beta and Arch has paired it with Qt 6.9 beta. Just disclosing that, but the bug has been present in 6.2 as well. However, it seems to have become worse in 6.3. I have finally been able to reliably reproduce it. Hence, why I am filing this bug now. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Sep meta / super to trigger the overview. 2. Switch virtual desktops. I do this with keyboard shortcuts. For example trigger the "Switch one desktop the the right" shortcut. 3. Hit the meta / super key. OBSERVED RESULT I have to press the meta / super key three times in order to trigger the overview. For whatever reason, switching desktops in any direction through the keyboard shortcut seems to temporarily eat input. I have my switch desktop shortcuts triggered by "meta+ctrl+left", "meta+ctrl+right" and so on and so forth. I believe this is the default. I tried changing them, but that didn't help. EXPECTED RESULT Switching virtual desktops shouldn't eat input whenever I go to trigger the overview. Triggering the application launcher with alt+f1 works immediately after switching desktops with the shortcut. Furthermore, switching desktops via the desktop pager widget does not trigger this bug. Maybe it only eats input regarding the meta / super key?
