I tried reinstalling it but still no success.

I think it got fixed after restarting..
You can close this if you want , since I am busy to generate a full back-trace of this. So sorry for the botheration.

Please note that Debian advises users to not submit bugs upstream (https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting), as this version of the KDE software is out of support from KDE, and so it's possible that the bug exists only in Debian at this point.
