SUMMARY
When you enter edit mode and click on add widget and use the search bar to find a widget. Then exit out of the window end exit edit mode. Then repeat the process over again but the search function will just not be there. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

OBSERVED RESULT
Lost the function to search widgets. 

EXPECTED RESULT
For it to not be necessary to log out and log back in after searching widgets 

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: ChachyOS and Voidlinux using the 6.6 and 6.12 kernel  
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 and 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

Tried on Wayland and x11 with the same result
